Exclamation The "Supply" Quest, Cannot Complete

When you get the quest to go north of the wall to find the supply line, I've died so many times, now I've got a -60% and it keeps getting hire because it's impossible to do anything when you're that week. Does that ever disappear because if it doesn't then I most likely will stop playing GW forever as I can't do anything when after about 5-10 hits my character -- and henchmen -- die; so what do I do?!?!

When you go into a city, your DP goes away. When You earn exp your DP goes away. 60 is the max your DP can be. Play the game a little, will ya ^_~

It's very possible that you're really too low level for that quest. I would suggest completing a bunch of quests and get to about level 10 or so then head back north of the wall to finish that quest and pick up some others.

Also, save up some gold by selling items so that you can upgrade your armor. There are 2 armorers in Ascalon City and one in Piken Square.

Also, the easiest way to do that quest is to start at Piken. Kill everything on the way then lead the supply column back.

I'd also advise taking it slowly if you can. Try and time ytour fights so you only fight 1 small group at a time, don't rush in when there are 2-3+ groups all together! Wait tll they have split up and then take on just 1 group at a time.. remember to watch your aggro radius to ensure you only aggro 1 group at a time.

Also, as has been suggested, if you have reached Piken Square I'd say go from there to get the supply column. Also, if you have some of the NPC's there wanting quests you can take them as they get you fighting boss critters which will give you a morale boost if you can kill them - I know 1 of the PS quests wil give you help in killing the boss & his buddies, and the other is close to PS entrance and isn't too hard (unless you aggroo too many of the charr...)

concerning the Death Penalty - you get -15% DP everytime you die, +2% morale boost whenever you kill a boos.. and whenever you earn experience you will start working off your DP. Take it slowly and try and take out bosses if you can for that moral boost, it can help.

Also, I find taking Stefan, Reyna & Alesia as henchies is a good group. I disliked Orion since he used to always celebrate victory with a firestorm! :P Thats supposedly been fixed tho... just remember - critters WILL tend to go after Alesia and then Renya more than Stefan or yourself, unless of course your a Monk/? as monks seem to be there favorite food :P

Also, you should try and learn to prioritize what you attack - try and take out enemy healers if you can do so without dying yourself. This is so they can't heal theimselves! Nothing worse than wacking on some charr Blademaster just to see them get healed by the Charr healer standing behind him :P So learn what each critter can do, who does healing, who will shatter enchantments, etc and focus fire on whats doing the most damage to your party or stopping you from killing something...

I spend quite a bit of time at -60 (bad habit of adventuring in areas that are too strong for my character ..it's the healer I tell ya!) so I tend to build my character with that in mind (extra energy so that I can still cast needed spells when at -60) and sometimes it's much better to continue the quest instead of giving up and going to town (resetting the world and your death penalty). I have actually finished quests because I died in the right place (and ending up at a shrine in a better place). But you do have to know when it is hopeless and to give up. When that happens, take a breath and do something else for a bit and before you know it the quest is fresh again and so are you complete with the knowledge of how to attempt the quest again. And death is a big part of the game so you might as well get used to it. At least the DP is the least offensive I have ever seen in 9 years of mmog's.
